A sketch of my 6-month old chinchilla, Yuffie. I sketched it really quickly from life, about ten minutes (until she moved - ten minutes is a long time for a chin to stand still!) And used a few reference photos of her to add in details and shading for the fur. It was a fun pseudo life-drawing study. :) It's handy having her cage right next to my tablet.

A trading post entry from a few TPs ago, for Inali. Her character surfs, so I pictured her relaxing and working off an adrenaline rush under the trees in the jungle she lives in. :) I tried a few new things with this, and while I wanted more detail in the background, I had a deadline, and I'm generally pleased with the results. :)

I -really- wish the scan of this had picked up the colours better, and not made them look muddy. But alas, the gift is being shipped to it's new recipient - this is a mixed-media piece done for my new baby nephew's nursery. I wanted to do a brightly-coloured dragon. It's rare that I do real media, but I want to play with it more.
